Crypto and AI PACs

32 tracked cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence industry PACs are deploying more than $340 million to influence 2026 elections, between funds already spent and cash still on hand.

Tracing $340 million

Direct contributions
Inter-committee transfers
Funds from last cycle

Donors put $269.5 million into the 32 tracked cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence committees this cycle, alongside $70.5 million in funds carried over from last cycle. From there, three committees — Fairshake, Leading the Future, and Public First — passed money to affiliated PACs in their networks. Each committee’s funds this cycle combines direct contributions, cash on hand from last cycle, and any transfers received from other tracked PACs.

About $91.6 million of those funds have already gone to independent expenditures, leaving tracked committees with about $248.4 million remaining to spend in the midterms.

Due to different reporting frequencies for receipts and expenditures, committees sometimes appear to have spent more than they have raised.
